Russian PM calls for coordinated efforts to fight terrorism
MOSCOW, Mar 22 (PRIME) -- The international community should coordinate its efforts to fight terrorism and Tuesday’s blasts in Brussels again stress this necessity, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said, as cited by the government’s press office.
“We strongly condemn this barbaric crime against civilians. These events once again underline the need of coordinated efforts of the international community to fight terroristic threats,” Medvedev said.
Two blasts ripped through a Brussels airport at around 10:00 a.m. Moscow time Tuesday and were followed by several explosions in the city’s metro, with 21 people killed and dozens injured under the latest data available.
National flagship carrier Aeroflot has abolished two flights to Brussels scheduled for late Tuesday.
